Typewriters Anonymous

Typewriters Anonymous is an interactive poetry installation involving poets, strangers, vintage typewriters and poems composed on the spot by members of The Poetry Society and signed "Anonymous." We've worked extensively with The Library Foundation of Los AngelesPlay The LA River, UCLA, The Hammer Museum and The Poetry Society of New York, bringing poetry to people tailored for site specific events, providing a little momento of poetry for citizens to take home. You've probably seen us out on the scene, that's because Typewriters Anonymous is part of a larger growing revolution involving manual typewriters, the freedom to express oneself in a non-digital format and the need to connect.

We'd love to collaborate with you on your party, event or celebration. Send us a communication.
